AMWC Monaco 2026: Regeneration and longevity are leading trends

One of the world’s largest aesthetic congresses has just concluded. Among the key insights at the Aesthetics Medicine World Congress Monaco 2026 (AMWC Monaco) was the growing momentum of regenerative treatments. Our activities at AMWC revolved around showcasing our commitment to science and innovation, and patient-centered outcomes. Alongside the congress, NOTES—our closed community for aesthetic practitioners—was launched. Discover the key insights from the congress below.

Regenerative aesthetics in focus

Nordberg Medical made a strong impact at AMWC Monaco 2026. Regenerative aesthetics, longevity, and skin health were main themes at the congress. As a key player in the biotech industry, with a focus on regenerative biomaterials, we are at the forefront of advancing these fields. We were especially pleased of the attention that JULÄINE™ received during the congress:

“We were very proud to attend the award ceremony, and be awarded the Best Regenerative Aesthetics Solution in the face of a lot of stiff competition and other great products in the industry,” comments Garth Reynolds, COO and CCO at Nordberg Medical.

Our symposium: An in-depth look at regenerative biostimulators

The first day of the congress was the date for our symposium “The science of long-lasting regenerative biomaterials: a new dermal bio-activator deliberately designed to regenerate”. Over the course of an hour, our speakers provided an in-depth look at what truly defines a regenerative biostimulator.

Revealing regeneration and its mechanism

First up was Dr. Pawel Kubik, a leading aesthetic medicine doctor and director of Dr. Kubik Medical Centre in Gdynia, Poland. He demonstrated the noticeable differences in PLLA biostimulators when examined under a microscope.

Dr. Pawel Kubik has used advanced high-resolution cameras, digital microscopes, and micrometric sieves to examine the particles and solubility of biostimulators after reconstitution. His work provides valuable insights into the behaviours of PLLA materials that may impact clinical application.

From theory to tissue

Next was Professor Dr. Thomas Dirschka, a dermatologist and clinical investigator specializing in translational and applied dermatology.

Professor Dr. Thomas Dirschka took the audience beneath the surface of the skin by presenting histology images (microscopic images of tissue) from both animal and human skin.

The images showed how microparticles from different biostimulators distribute in the skin, why some trigger prolonged inflammation, and how PLLA-LASYNPRO™ (JULÄINE™) stimulates new collagen formation with minimal immune activation.

Clinical practice

Ultimately, the biomedical solutions we offer are dedicated to helping people change the way they age. The final part of our symposium was patient-centered.

Dr. Inmaculada Serrano, specialized in Aesthetic Medicine and founder of Aesthetic Medical Studio in Melilla, Spain. She presented how regenerative solutions shift the way we approach aesthetics—moving away from instant beautification to incorporating a regenerative perspective—and how this transforms patient assessment.

Overall, the symposium exemplified our approach to research, spanning from fundamental hypotheses to clinical validation and real-world outcomes.

Revealing the new silhouette for JULÄINE™

As highlighted in the symposium, JULÄINE™ represents a new standard in biomaterial design that brings both clinical and real world benefits.

To better reflect its unique biomaterial design and give it the recognition it deserves, we have updated the look of our vial and packaging — while keeping the same proven, low-inflammatory formula that is already trusted by many across 35 countries.

NOTES: A closed community for open clinical dialogue

AMWC also marked the launch of NOTES, our much awaited Instagram community—a curated digital notebook exclusive to aesthetic professionals. NOTES provides a space for nuance and clinical detail often missed in open forums and delivers focused insights rather than broad, generic information.

All aesthetic professionals are invited to become members of our community. Please visit us on Instagram and search for @nordbergmed.notes.

The conversation continues

Perhaps most of all, the AMWC is a meeting place for exchanging ideas and sharing experiences. We had many insightful conversations about aesthetics and regenerative treatments at our booth. The conversation continues on our open social media channels on Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube. As a member of NOTES you can also watch more in-depth interviews on our closed channel @nordbergmed.notes.
