Aesthetic treatments becoming a part of personal wellness

Forbes provided an exclusive preview of our dermal bio-activator JULÄINE, which was officially launched in the UK on October 6th. JULÄINE is “redefining regenerative aesthetics”, and “targets root causes of aging rather than simply masking imperfections,” according to Forbes.

It is clear that modern luxury nowadays extends beyond shopping to more holistic approaches focusing on overall health. This includes everything from skin health and natural beauty to stress management. Forbes’ luxury lineup featured JULÄINE among a selection of modern travel skincare essentials, personalised treatments with crystals, responsibly sourced fabrics, and luxury hotels offering wellness experiences.

Key trends in aesthetics are linked to health

When wellness takes the center stage, chasing the most youthful skin possible is no longer among the top key trends. In fact, according to a recent survey by Boston Consulting Group, 75% of consumers over the past 24 months prioritize looking healthy over looking young.2

Moreover, about 60% of patients used regenerative products in addition to traditional hyaluronic acid fillers.2 The range of aesthetic treatments has also become more complex and many clinics nowadays offer combination therapies using multiple modalities, such as combining dermal fillers with laser therapy.

Regenerative aesthetic medicine in vogue

While regenerative medicine aims at tissue repair due to disease and trauma, regenerative aesthetic medicine aims to restore tissue that has been damaged or lost due to the aging process.3

There are three regenerative solutions used in aesthetics—stem cells, growth factors, and biomaterials.3 Typical for these innovative treatments is the possibility of having facial rejuvenation with more subtle enhancements and natural looking results, such as a gradual improvement in skin texture. Given many patients' preference for natural results, it is hardly surprising that aesthetic clinics are investing in these new kinds of cosmetic procedures.

JULÄINE is now available at a growing number of clinics across the UK and is continuing its rapid expansion in Europe and Asia. Contact us for more information about availability in your country.
